We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to Tehran and wish you a rewarding and enriching experience at ICR 2026.
Warm regards,
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great pleasure and immense pride that I welcome you to the 41st International Congress of Radiology (ICR) which takes place from November 3 to 6, 2026, at the Iranmall Exhibition Center in Tehran, Iran.
This year, under the inspiring themes of “cardio thoracic and fetal imaging “ ICR 2026 is poised to delve into two critical pillars of radiology that profoundly impact patient care. To improve outcomes for both mothers and fetuses, our program will highlight the most recent developments in fetal ultrasonography, MRI, and AI-driven diagnoses. In a similar vein, advances in cardiothoracic imaging technology are revolutionizing patient care through high-resolution CT, sophisticated MRI protocols, and AI integration.
Beyond these themes, we are pleased to provide a comprehensive and varied scientific program that covers a broad range of imaging fields. Through keynote lectures, interactive sessions, hands-on workshops, cutting-edge research, and multidisciplinary discussions, we want to combine knowledge and technology in ways that enhance patient care and promote excellence in radiology.
As the Scientific Secretary of our ICR 2026, I am deeply honored to be part of this significant event, and I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to the Iranian Society of Radiology for organizing our annual congress. My deepest appreciation also goes to the congress president and the scientific committee for dedicating their time, energy and passion to make this event so exceptional.
I encourage you to discover the congress sessions, connect with colleagues, and embrace the dynamic exchange of ideas that makes this meeting truly special. Thank you for joining us at ICR 2026. Together, we continue to shape the future of radiology.
With warm regards,
Behnaz Moradi, MD

It is an honor and great pleasure to welcome you to the 40th Iranian Congress of Radiology (ICR 2025) to be held on October 2025 in Tehran, Iran.
The 40th Iranian Congress of Radiology (ICR) has a resounding success for its organizer, the Iranian Society of Radiology (ISR). The 40th ICR in 2025 is planned to build on the success of past ICR.
Nearly four decades of great effort and enthusiasm has catapulted the ICR to its current level of sterling growth and perfection.
In response to rising prevalence of cancer throughout the nation, the spotlight within this congress will turn towards the profound significance of oncology imaging. Obviously, like previous ICRs, this congress will take a look at other medical imaging issues, as well.
The scientific committee of ICR 2025 is preparing a rich program that participants can fully engage and be part of the learning.
Included in the program, one will find educational presentations to be delivered by invited expert lecturers, CME packages, refresher courses, scientific research-based oral and poster presentations, workshops and medical imaging technical exhibition.
I am confident that the 40th ICR will provide excellent opportunities for the participants to connect with fellow colleagues, to enhance the educational aspects and to optimize clinical skills, and to interact and engage with industry representatives.
I am very much looking forward to welcoming you and wishing you a wonderful experience at ICR 2025 in Tehran.

By the grace of God
Dear Colleagues and Attendees,
It is with honor and great pleasure that, I warmly invite you to the 40th Iranian Congress of Radiology which takes place from October 21 to 23, 2025, at the Iranmall Exhibition Center in Tehran, Iran.
Radiology is evolving at an astronomical pace, and as imaging professionals, we have to adapt with the changes imposed upon us by this evolution. The integration of AI in the practice of medicine and the emerging role of radiologists as an integral part of the treatment team are key aspects that have been reflected in the design of our lecture sessions.
The upcoming annual meeting covers the latest topics across all specialties with the highest quality expected from ICR. However, oncologic imaging has been the focus of special interest in each field.
As radiologists, we have the privilege to look into the human body to find evidence of disease. However, we understand that “The eyes do not see what the brain does not know”. Thus it’s crucial for us to stay informed of the newest scientific developments and cutting-edge research with their implementations in our daily practices. This year’s educational lectures and workshops are specifically planned to help us fulfill this responsibility.
We are convinced that the 40th ICR will prove to be an opportunity to exchange debated topics, expand our horizons, and meet old and new colleagues.
The congress will not take its worthy place without the dedicated work and shared experiences of our scientific and executive committees, for which I am sincerely grateful. We look forward to your enthusiastic contribution and presence in ICR 2025.
